Birdie Hilltop Tracks Appear in Film More Shoes

January 15, 2010

Several Birdie Hilltop songs have been used as soundtrack material in the independent film More Shoes, directed by Lee Kazimir. Pascal also composed a bit of original music for the film, which tells the story of a young man traveling a great distance across Europe, on foot, instead of going to film school. More Shoes played in numerous festivals worldwide last year, and won several awards - now it is finally out on dvd, and the special features include an interview featurette with Birdie Hilltop frontman Pascal.

Support independent film, and a filmmaker who is doing excellent work in a difficult field! Head on over to the film's facebook page here, and buy the dvd here.

In other, slightly sad, news - we won't be putting any products on Amazon for at least some time, since the fees they impose would make the stuff too expensive for our taste. Many apologies for the inconvenience. Happy December to everyone!

Thanks Dean and Tamas, and all of you who came and stayed all the way to the end to hear us.
